Your role
At Exactly we put design at the core of what we do. We deeply care about the end user experience and that’s why we need your help to create new products that are easy and delightful to use. You’ll be joining a small team where you’ll have the chance to shape how we do design from the ground up. You will be collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, marketing and company leaders to take products from concept to launch, while being responsible for how they look and feel.
What you’ll be doing
- You’ll be involved in multiple projects throughout the product lifecycle and will be responsible for taking early concepts and ideas and turning them into real, useful products, including mobile apps, desktop apps and web apps.
- You’ll be responsible for creating user-centered experiences based on research and analytics that simultaneously align with business goals.
- You’ll design end-to-end flows, define user journeys and create wireframes and prototypes that can be shared with our internal teams and stakeholders, while sharing the rationale behind your designs.
- You’ll turn low and high-fidelity wireframes into great user interfaces by using existing design systems or building new ones from scratch.
- You’ll iterate over your designs, defining and refining the look and feel based on feedback from our team and clients.
- You’ll collaborate closely with the engineering and marketing teams to address their needs and will deliver high-quality assets and specifications.
What you’ll need
- 2+ years of experience working in a UX or UI role for a tech company.
- Great attention to detail and a good understanding of design best practices, including knowledge of typography, color, iconography and how these elements impact product function.
- Knowledge of most common interaction and navigation patterns across different platforms including mobile apps and web apps.
- Capable of creating user flows and wireframes, and turning them into final mockups.
- Able to describe, document or prototype interaction behaviors that are essential to the user experience.
- Experience with industry-standard tools like Sketch or Figma.
- A portfolio of relevant work where we can learn about your work process.
- Good written and oral communication skills in English.
