We are looking for an experienced UX Researcher to join our growing UX Team. You will be responsible for helping define and drive our UX Research processes and the future of our products. You will reveal what our users need from our products by conducting research, working with cross-functional teams, and performing usability studies. These responsibilities also include inspiring change, delivering oral and written presentations, evaluating qualitative and quantitative data, and helping the UX team better understand what would make a user’s experience more intuitive, accessible, and seamless.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES          
  • Conduct and evaluate quantitative and qualitative research.
  • Perform market and ethnographic research.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate research topics.
  • Plan and implement user research strategies and methodologies.
  • Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written and oral presentations.
  • Employ a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods to accomplish our goals, including surveys, focus groups, field studies, usability tests, and 1:1 interviews
  • Conduct research tests in collaboration with Product Managers and UX Designers, moderate stakeholder discussion, and capture all feedback and documentation
  • Conduct qualitative research in an end-to-end software development setting, including product discovery with on-going generative research, usability testing on designs and getting feedback on shipped product(s)
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
     
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES       
  • Ability to help turn business needs into unbiased research questions
  • Ability to maintain an organized record of feedback
  • Proven track record of working cross functionally
  • Deep user empathy and strong communication skills
  • Willingness to learn on the job and take on tasks as needed
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and communicate over the phone with video chat software, such as Microsoft Teams
     
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS     
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
    • In lieu of Bachelor’s degree, equivalent years of experience in user research, or a related human behavior field
  • 3-5 years of UX research experience, preferably in B2B B2C technology/service, or a related field
  • Experience conducting mixed-method research (interviews, usability, surveys, etc) and presenting data with informed recommendations to peers and stakeholders
  • Experience using research tools/software such as Userlytics and Marvin
