CallRail is hiring Mobile Product Designer
The Position
What You'll Do
- Work closely with your product manager and engineering team to come up with creative solutions to complex problems for our mobile and responsive users.
- Conduct and evaluate research to ensure your designs are informed by real user experiences for mobile and responsive environments.
- Develop mobile and responsive patterns and work with our UI Design Systems team to build out templates and well-defined standards to use across design teams.
- Advocate for the product, constantly seeking to better understand our users’ needs and ideating solutions to serve them.
- Understand the needs of the business and form relationships with other product leaders to ensure your internal users are included.
- Work with and mentor less experienced designers, sharing your skills and expertise.
- Design interfaces and interactions for new and existing features. Your primary focus will be mobile and responsive designs. However, you may need to help with desktop projects as needed.
- Work closely with developers to implement new features and establish mobile best practices.
- Look out for opportunities to make our app more intuitive and easy to use while prioritizing time-sensitive projects.
- Collaborate with the design team to promote and expand design culture at CallRail.
What You'll Need
- 4+ years of experience as a mobile / responsive focused UX/product designer.
- Experience working with native design kits, knowing when to use them and when to create custom components.
- A portfolio demonstrating your design prowess for responsive environments and mobile applications.
- Must be able to clearly articulate and present design concepts to cross-functional teams and leadership.
- A strong sense of design fundamentals, including iconography, typography, color, and data visualization.
- Mastery of design tools, such as Figma, Sketch. Our team uses Figma.
- Mastery of prototyping mobile user flows.
- Using style guides and design systems is second-nature.
- Experience working as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team. You communicate clearly and listen intently. High-level presentation skills are a major plus.
- Prior experience conducting user research and ability to synthesize feedback with data to guide design decisions.
- Experience using product analytics tools, such as Pendo or FullStory, is a major plus. Our team uses both.
- Foundational understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-moving and changing environment as the team and our product grows.

This position is based out of our Atlanta office and will require that you come into the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
