Certinia is hiring User Experience (UX) Product Manager
Description
- Collaborate with Sr Management to ensure corporate, portfolio, and strategy directions are represented and prioritized in our roadmaps
- Define priority investments needed across the product areas to deliver on the promise of a cohesive end-to-end business process
- Research and prioritize release requirements through customer usage metrics data, discussions, and formal elicitation methods, including customer ideas, customer meetings, and customer advisory boards
- Coordinate with Engineering Managers, Release Managers, and User Experience on all steps from planning to release delivery
- Define the key epics and ensure these are represented into each release planning cycle across all related products
- Own the PM responsibility for ensuring that features are ready to ship, according to the product team readiness criteria and checklist
- Defines key results for release objectives and updates stakeholders on progress throughout the release.
- Works closely with Engineering Team Leads (ETL), UX Designers, and feature crew to understand, scope, and deliver work, highlighting risks and dependencies.
- Clearly communicates acceptance criteria and required deliverables to feature crew and ensures their successful implementation, meeting the definition of done.
- Clearly communicates the business problem(s) to solve, identifies and socializes assumptions to validate, desired outcomes along with next priorities for the current area, and adjacent opportunities in areas that are not the current focus.
- Communicates throughout the release with stakeholders, providing early visibility of forthcoming features, enabling quick feedback loops.
- Frequent interactions with our key customers to gain an understanding of their top business issues, how our solution is addressing business process, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
- Participates in research calls to elicit feedback on a feature or target area. Discovery is typically based on iteration of existing areas and understanding the next most valuable feature rather than an entirely new domain.
- Socializes insights with feature crew and uses them to create prioritized product backlog.
- Uses methods presented in the Product Design Playbooks.
- Monitors and responds to internal product queries, customer ideas, swarm cases, defects and questions generated via the Customer Community and from colleagues within Certinia relating to owned area.
- Typically has a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 1-2 years of related experience as a Product Manager, Business Analyst, or Product Owner in a software development, business applications, and/or SaaS applications/commercial software company
- Problem-solving/logical thinker
- Ability to generate ideas with limited input and proactive drive delivery
- Excellence in product design, problem-solving, cross-team collaboration, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally, when required

- Experience navigating the strengths and limitations of a platform architecture
- Typically has a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 1-2 years of related experience.
