We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Product Designer to join billups, a leader in the Out-Of-Home advertising technology sector. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Sciences, Marketing, and Business teams to drive the development of industry-leading technologies that are intuitive, visually impactful, and enhanced by scientific and machine learning insights.

billups is pioneering the transformation of the OOH advertising sector through our patented analytics and measurement platform. This platform enhances media performance for advertisers and agencies worldwide, leading the charge in redefining out-of-home planning and placement for the performance age.

Key Responsibilities:

User Experience (UX):

• Conduct user research, create personas, and map user journeys.

• Design wireframes, low/high-fidelity prototypes, and interaction flows.

• Lead usability testing and iterate based on qualitative and quantitative insights.

• Translate scientific models and data into intuitive, user-focused experiences.

User Interface (UI):

• Design visually engaging, accessible interfaces using modern tools (e.g., Figma).

• Define and maintain layout systems, typography, iconography, color schemes,

• and interaction patterns.

• Focus on visual consistency, polish, and delight across screens and breakpoints.

• Ensure pixel-perfect implementation by collaborating closely with engineers.

Focus Area:

Interaction Design: You’ll be focusing on how users feel when using the product—making every tap, swipe, and click intuitive and satisfying.

Visual Polish & Delight: It’s all about the details. From typography and color to spacing and motion, you’ll bring that final layer of finesse that transforms a good interface into a joyful experience.

Qualifications:

Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university, or equivalent practical experience. More than 5 years of experience in UI/UX design, particularly in internet products and technologies, is required. A strong portfolio that displays a breadth of design projects is essential.

Diverse Knowledge: Understanding of multiple functional areas such as product management, engineering, sales, customer support and marketing will be beneficial. Experience in advertising is preferred but not mandatory.
