Pathstream is hiring a Senior Product Designer. This is a full-time exempt role reporting to the Director of Product Design and Research.

WHAT WE DO:

Pathstream was founded on the premise that substantial unrealized economic & human potential exists within each organization’s frontline workforce. We are reshaping the way employees and managers on the frontlines excel in their careers. In this age of rapid tech evolution, our enterprise partnerships transform frontline teams from transactional to relational, from back office to middle office, and from task-oriented to strategic. We impact companies’ bottom lines with improved productivity, increased retention, and differentiated quality of customer experience; employees experience the benefits of greater success in their current roles while unlocking future professional growth.

We’re a tight-knit, hardworking, mission-driven team of ~60 employees who are eager to scale our solution and transform careers across the United States. Want to learn more?

THE ROLE:

As Pathstream expands its partnerships with Fortune 500 companies, we're seeking a Senior Product Designer with a passion for visual design and experience crafting digital products that influence behavior and drive personal growth. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the learning tech space by helping frontline workers—like call center agents—advance their careers through transformative learning experiences.

You'll join an established product design team and serve as the design lead within a cross-functional pod, collaborating closely with engineers and a product manager. Your primary focus will be redesigning our responsive web platform, crafting intuitive and emotionally resonant experiences that support career growth and long-term engagement.

From personalized onboarding and goal setting to AI-powered action plans and career coaching, you'll design features that are not only functional but also visually engaging and motivational. You'll apply your strengths in visual storytelling, design strategy, and design systems to build accessible, modern interfaces that encourage consistent user progress and skill-building momentum.

You’ll work closely with researchers, fellow designers, PMs, engineers, learning designers, and coaches—leading projects from ideation to implementation. This role is ideal for a designer who blends strong UX thinking with sharp visual craft and has experience creating experiences that promote habit formation, self-reflection, and long-term engagement.

Join us in designing a platform that empowers frontline workers, helps them unlock their potential, and supports their journey to career advancement—one habit, milestone, and achievement at a time.

ABOUT YOU:

  • 5 – 7 years of experience in a product design role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in both UX and UI
  • Proven success in B2B2C web applications, especially with cross-functional teams experience, with a strong record of shipping successful products in cross-functional teams
