The role is on-site, based in our Boca Raton office - a fast-paced, collaborative environment where great ideas move quickly from whiteboard to production.
Pay Transparency
The annual base salary range for this position is $185,000-$220,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from the posted hiring range based upon work experience, and/or skill level, among other things. This role is also eligible for an equity package.

Responsibilities of the Senior UX Designer
User Research & Discovery: Lead research (interviews, surveys, testing, ethnographic) with clinicians, administrators, and patients to understand needs and workflows.
User Experience Strategy: Define UX strategy, IA, flows, and interactions to simplify complex healthcare processes.
Design Execution: Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes; clearly communicate and iterate based on feedback.
Functional Prototyping: Build interactive prototypes to test and validate concepts before handoff.
Design Systems: Evolve and maintain design systems for consistency and scalability across products.
Usability Testing & Iteration: Plan and run tests, analyze results, and apply insights to improve designs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with PMs, engineers (especially React/Next.js) to ensure design quality and feasibility.
Advocacy & Education: Promote user-centered, accessible, and ethical design across teams.
Technical & Design Leadership: Mentor designers, lead critiques, and help shape the UX vision.
Hiring & Onboarding: Support interviews and onboarding to grow a strong design team.
Minimum Qualifications
7+ years in UX/Product Design or related roles, with a strong portfolio demonstrating impact on complex digital products.
Proven experience designing for healthcare, including clinical workflows, patient portals, EMRs/EHRs, and familiarity with regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
Expert in design and prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
Strong grasp of user-centered design, IA, interaction, and visual design principles.
Solid understanding of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and inclusive design.
Skilled in user research (e.g., interviews, usability testing, contextual inquiry) and translating insights into actionable designs.
Strategic thinker with experience giving and receiving critical design feedback.
Excellent communicator and collaborator in diverse, cross-functional teams.
Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams.
Led UX vision and delivery for software products or key components.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven ability to build functional prototypes (not just static mockups) using tools like Framer, ProtoPie, InVision Studio, or basic web tech (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Familiar with modern frontend frameworks, especially React and Next.js, to support close collaboration with engineers.
Experience contributing to large-scale, robust design systems.
Background designing for AI-driven applications, agentic systems, or complex data visualizations.
Comfortable using data to guide design decisions and assess impact.
