As a Senior Product Designer, you will shape and evolve the core app experience across multiple initiatives, ensuring a unified, simple, and elegant product. You’ll partner with product and engineering to translate strategy into cohesive experiences, balancing execution with long-term quality. Working closely with our Head of Design, you’ll tackle meaningful design challenges that improve the wellbeing of our community daily.

This role requires strong product and systems thinking, the ability to juggle work across parallel initiatives, and experience influencing partners to deliver thoughtful, well-crafted UX. You’ll design across key parts of our platform, from the core consumer experience already reaching millions, to emerging AI-driven features reshaping how practitioners engage with Insight Timer. 

The first stage is a portfolio review, so please include several high-quality consumer mobile app and web case studies demonstrating holistic product thinking.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Design: Design beautiful and intuitive mobile interfaces for our core experience and AI-powered features.
• AI Product Innovation: Ideate and design AI features that make wellbeing more accessible and personalized for millions of users worldwide.
• Testing & Iteration: Support our continuous testing culture by designing variants and rapidly iterating on successful concepts.
• Collaborative Design: Work hand-in-hand with our Head of Design and Senior Product Managers to translate requirements into compelling user experiences, and work with engineers to ensure high-quality, well-crafted implementation.
• User-Centered Problem Solving: Tackle complex UX challenges across all areas of the app while maintaining the simplicity that makes our platform accessible to everyone.
• Rapid Prototyping: Create interactive prototypes using Figma and AI tools to quickly communicate and validate design concepts.

• Mobile first: 5+ years designing consumer mobile apps and responsive web; with a track record of creating world-class features with strong user engagement.
• UI/UX: Exceptional skills in visual design and user experience, with the ability to make complex features feel intuitive and straightforward.
• Collaborative Spirit: Excellent communication skills and experience working closely with product managers and engineers in fast-paced environments.
• Design Process: Strong foundation in user-centered design principles
• Familiarity with Research Methods: Comfortable drafting research plans, conducting user interviews and synthesis
• Agility: Thrive in fast-paced environments where priorities shift and resources are limited.
• Portfolio: Compelling mobile case studies demonstrating your end-to-end design process, problem-solving approach, and impact on user metrics.
