Role Overview

We're seeking a UX Design Lead to establish the design foundation for our next-generation cybersecurity platform. You'll own the complete user experience across our product portfolio—from analyst workflows to administrative controls and executive dashboards. This is a ground-floor opportunity to set design standards, create reusable patterns, and build a design system that enables our platform to scale while maintaining exceptional usability and visual polish. You'll work directly with engineering and product leadership to transform complex security capabilities into intuitive, elegant experiences that security professionals actually want to use. The ideal candidate brings deep UX expertise, strong visual design sensibilities, and the ability to establish design excellence as a core product differentiator from day one.

Required Experience / Knowledge

• 7+ years of UX/UI design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating both interaction design and visual design excellence

• At least 3 years designing for security products and enterprise IT tools

• Proven experience establishing design systems, component libraries, and design patterns that scale across complex product surfaces

• Proven experience delving into new domains and efficiently identifying key design opportunities for the end user

• Expertise designing data-dense interfaces with effective information hierarchy and data visualization

• Track record of creating workflows that balance speed and efficiency with clarity during high-stakes situations

• Experience designing for multiple user personas across an organization (analysts, directors, architects, executives)

• Ability to work autonomously in ambiguous environments and make principled design decisions with incomplete information

• Strong visual design skills with attention to typography, color systems, spacing, and creating polished, professional interfaces

Additional Qualifications Preferred

• Experience with timeline-based interfaces, graph/network visualizations, and temporal data representation

• Experience mentoring designers or growing design teams

• Background in addressing signal fatigue, improving signal-to-noise ratio, and designing intelligent filtering/prioritization systems

We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support our employees’ health, well-being, and long-term success. The expected salary range for this position is $150,000 – $250,000 per year. Within this range, individual pay is determined based on job-related factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Most candidates can expect an offer within the range listed above. Your recruiter will provide additional details on compensation and benefits to qualified candidates during the hiring process.
