TITLE:  Layout Artist       

LOCATION: Manila, Philippines

ABA ROLI is a non-profit organization that implements legal reform programs in roughly 50 countries around the world. ABA ROLI has nearly 500 professional staff work­ing abroad and in its Washington, D.C. office. ABA ROLI’s host country partners include judges, lawyers, bar associations, law schools, court administrators, legislatures, ministries of justice and a wide array of civil society organi­zations, including human rights groups. 

JOB SUMMARY

ABA ROLI is seeking a Lay Out Artist to design front and back covers and spine for two law books that depicts a concise visual summary of the contents of the book.

The ideal candidate will have artistic abilities, at least three years of extensive experience in similar assignments,  page layout, graphics design, photography, fine arts or desktop publishing.  

The successful candidate will work closely with our partner to:

·        Work and meet with our partner to understand the requirements of this assignment

·        Develop creative and innovative concepts for a book cover

·        Develop few ideas to choose from on how the book could like for front cover, back cover, spine and sample layout

·        Finalize and deliver final design on deadline date

·        Work closely with printing company to ensure that approved book cover designs are accurately laid out prior to printing.
