Product designer

Lifetimely is a reporting tool helping thousands of Shopify stores understand their returning customer behavior and lifetime value. You can find us from in the Shopify App store. We're growing fast and looking for our first full-time designer with front-end skills to help us build a beautiful analytics product that is easy to use. Your job would be to take full responsibility of our user interface and help taking ideas from concepts to prototypes and to the actual product.

About the role

We are looking for an awesome designer: you should be able to handle the whole cycle from taking a product pitch, crafting a beautiful design, and then writing HTML & CSS with some Javascript to make your vision come true. The HTML/CSS/Javascript part is nice to have but not a hard requirement - awesome design is a must. The app is built with Ruby on Rails with some JS here and there.

As Lifetimely is an analytics tool, you would spend a lot of time crafting mockups of data visualizations and dashboards but also with different workflows.

Some examples of things we've been working on recently:

• We built email reports & settings functionality for our profit dashboard
• Researched requirements for a new "Lifetime value insights" report and crafted a design prototype
• Built a new segmentation UI

For this role, we are hiring anywhere between UTC -5 to UTC +4 timezones. You'll be working closely with one of our founders living in UTC +2 timezone requiring min. 4-hour overlap between working hours. The company is registered in Finland (EU) and the candidate (outside Finland) will be offered a contract role with flexible terms.

About the company

You would get a first-hand experience in SaaS and visibility on the super fast-growing Shopify platform economy. We are a small, 100% remote team across five continents and believe in calm workplace practices (although sometimes things can be a little hectic). We highly encourage writing instead of meeting whenever possible.
