Fi is looking for a UX Content Writer to lead our content design and writing efforts. This role is a unique opportunity to shape Fi’s voice, craft exceptional brand narratives, and create user experiences that delight and engage dog parents everywhere.

As a hands-on writer, you’ll partner with designers, engineers, marketers, and product managers to build compelling brand stories and seamless UX copy. The anticipated base salary for this position is $100,000 - $140,000 . The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held. This position is also eligible for equity compensation.

Job Summary:

Toptal is looking for a Senior UX Writer to join our Content Marketing team. This person will be responsible for developing impactful, conversion-focused copy for new Toptal products and platforms.

We are looking for someone who is extremely well-versed in UX writing, content design best practices, and product conversion principles. You will write and present world-class product content that is optimized for business metrics, and will have the ability to achieve this while maintaining the brand voice and style across all platforms. You will also be an organized and capable multitasker, able to manage workflows, stick to timelines, and manage stakeholder expectations. We are seeking a relentless, creative problem solver who sweats the details, leverages data, is comfortable working with a style guide, and takes great pains to ensure copy is clean before hand-off.

As a Senior UX Writer at Toptal, you are expected to have end-to-end content ownership of your product or business area. You assume responsibility for the product’s customer-facing story and will liaise with stakeholders to identify what content types are needed, delegate writing responsibilities when appropriate, and ensure that content is developed on time and according to the expected quality standards.

In this role, you will report to the UX Writing Lead and will work cross-functionally with a team of Product Managers, Product Designers, Engineers, Editors, and Researchers to strategically communicate Toptal’s narrative and drive action.

About the Role:

A Content Writer provides our customers with a consistent, relevant, and valuable content experience while they engage with our software. They focus on sustaining products that are already established in the market, ensuring that customer communications and product content accurately capture any feature enhancements or changes. This includes writing in-app communications for all product releases, regulatory updates, and sunsetting products.

A Content Writer collaborates with Product Leaders and Engineers to write UI content for sustaining product updates. This includes crafting dialog boxes, microcopy, ghost text, labels, button copy, and toast/snackbar messages. In addition to these responsibilities, the Content Writer will also be involved in creating customer-facing assessments and forms using a Content Management System (CMS) and writing in XML format. They will utilize their expertise to ensure the content is optimized for publishing to our product for customer use. The Content Writer will also manage the content release calendar and take charge of writing the technical help files. Furthermore, they will oversee the Help Center, Resource Hub, and the Help File build process, including QA, deployment, and release.

Key Strengths:

Content Writing background in a product-focused environment. An education/training background, or a bachelor’s degree in English, UX writing, technical communications, or journalism.
Experience writing and structuring language to respond to audience needs, technical communications, instructional, and UX writing.
Understand how to structure language in both XML and JSON formats.
Worked in authoring and publishing content management systems (CCMS).
Background working in agile development with cross-functional teams including Product Management, and Engineers.
Domain and industry knowledge a plus. Previous PointClickCare and/or EHR equivalent software experience an asset.
Self-directed and effective working independently and when cooperating with cross functional teams as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.

At PointClickCare, base salary is one of the many components that make up our total rewards package as a full time employee. The CAD base salary range for this position is $78,000 - $84,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by job and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hire salaries for the position across all CAD locations. Within the range, individual compensation is determined by job-related skills and knowledge, relevant experience including professional and lived experience, and/or work location. User-Centered Copywriting: Write user-focused, actionable copy for Amartha’s digital products, including onboarding flows, microcopy, error messages, and call-to-actions that drive engagement and understanding.
