We want a talented Design Director to join our newly formed and growing design team. You'll be one of the architects of our mission, helping millions of small businesses around the world by delivering incredible product and digital experience. After all, we're building products, tools and services that are helping them grow their businesses and build a better future for themselves and their families.
What You Will Do:
- Create and lead the new design direction of global design and product brand systems across the Vistaprint product experience
- Build and lead a team of talented designers in developing high-quality, user-centric, measurably impactful work
- Socialize and evangelize new tactics to other teams as we scale our testing wins to 100s of products across millions of customers globally
- Partner with talented leaders, designers, PMs and engineers and have a direct impact on the future look and feel of Vistaprint
- 15+ years working within a digital, design environment (agency and/or in-house) for a tech/retail/consumer brand
- 10+ of those years in leading and growing a high-performing product design team
- Proven ability in developing large scale, high-quality, digital experiences
- Expert in all aspects of design of digital, consumer facing tools
- Ability to guide the design direction with internal design teams and agencies while adhering to customer experience objectives and product best practices
- Able to balance quality standards with MVP testing strategies
- Background in producing data-informed, measurable effective UX by leveraging customer insights, A/B testing and personalization
- Able to build strong cross functional relationships with design, creative, technical and business partners
- Remote based, with regular travel to NYC for in-person collaboration
