What you'll do

    • Collaborate with a cross functional team of artists, game designers and engineers to create engaging kid-oriented games
    • Conceptualize and create wireframes, user-flows and game UI assets
    • Conduct regular playtests and gather usability feedback to make informed UX recommendations
    • Establish design best-practices and quality standard guidelines
    • Provide direction and mentorship for other UX Designers; lead creative and holistic thinking across products, platforms, and devices

We'd love to hear from you if you have

    • A portfolio showcasing ownership of end-to-end game UI/UX design for multiple successfully shipped/launched games
    • Intentionality – You understand the goals of your work and can explain the rationale behind your design decisions
    • User empathy – You understand that everyone experiences the world differently, and you are driven to understand the needs of your users
    • Aware of, but not beholden to, new and current design patterns – You have a desire to push design forward and you pay attention to how other games handle problems
    • Visuals that are clear, fun, and delightful – your visual communications are well executed, has a clear hierarchy, and express the design intent cohesively and consistently
    • Ability to be self-directed & OK with ambiguity – you enjoy being in a situation where you don’t know the answer, and are driven to try and figure it out, even if it means failing
    • Learning from each other – you have some skills to share and enjoy helping others learn what you know, even if it’d be quicker to do it yourself
    • 6+ years of experience

Bonus points for

    • Experience building and evolving an effective design system
    • Unity skills, such as animation and creating prefabs
    • Worked on games that have a physical and digital interaction
    • A passion for games, children and/or learning products
