Roles and Responsibilities:
UI Designer with an understanding of UX: Hands-on experience in solving Information representation problems; retaining or improving UX. Demonstrate ability to emphasize and bring in delight to Information. Ability to find design possibilities within app UI design guidelines and maintain quality. Be able to deliver quick visual rough mock-ups bringing the essence of the composition. Demonstrated ability to deliver polished UI. Understanding of design systems. Interest in creating/maintaining/extending design systems
UI Animation Understanding UI animation/motion design/interaction design, the balance of information in animation and, suggest animation references. Ability to mock up animations in AE/Photoshop/XD and other tools
UX You will be working hand in hand with the UX designer. It is essential to have an understanding of the user flow, Information architecture, Information flow, Information reliability and consistency across the app. You are welcome to solve UX problems if you wish
Skills & Experience
- Good to have: Experience working with user research pre-design and post-design teams
- Soft Skills: Team player, open to objective criticisms, readiness to learn
- Portfolio: Released and hypothetical application or web UI. At least one project demonstrating design process mood boards, visual pattern library, prototypes. Optional - deep deconstruction of an apps UI. Identifying good and bad UI patterns with hypothetical solutions. UI animation mocks
