Product Designer (Lead) UX/UI

We are looking to hire a leader of Product Designers, who can advise senior level stakeholders,  who will have had previous work in clinic, healthcare, or 3rd party processing for patients, to create and refine current and future product designs. Someone to understand technical capabilities and limitations of designs, work collaboratively with Engineers to provide clarification, improvements, and solutions. History to include presenting product ideas and low-fidelity wireframes to relevant team members for brainstorming. You must have an eye for aesthetic design and customer appeal, as well as exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Understand, map out, and validate user journeys for our multiple lines of business .

  • Someone with hands on experience at 5-10 year level, with current work as a senior or lead Product Designer in UX/UI
  • Someone should have a history of demonstrated experience in UX and UI design techniques and practices and a portfolio

You will own the design system, and generate creative ideas, working with Product and Engineering to design and analyze new and existing solutions. These ideas and solutions will be used by clinicians, operations, and patients to enhance practice management workflows, directly impacting the patient experience, in a cohesive and intuitive way. The Lead Product Designer we need will have as their goal, to ensure that the designs promote the vision of the company, through high-quality graphic content.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product, Business, and Engineering
    • Understand business problems, present intuitive and human centered design solutions
    • Liaise between business, product, and engineering to ensure deadlines are met
  • Own the Design Process 
    • Work quickly and iteratively to go from concept(s) to prototype to launch (limited number of meetings before go/no go)
    • Develop a uniform and consistent user experience through a design system
    • May need to guide the design direction and QA work from junior level contractors
  • Focus on the Customer
    • Structure and perform A/B tests and other quantitative/qualitative user tests to validate and improve user experience
    • Continuously iterate on existing designs to meet customer expectations
    • Maintain up-to-date on current industry trends and market conditions

History should include some history with the following -

  • Design tools use should include one of the following (Sketch, Figma, Zeplin, Invision, etc)
  • Conduct A/B tests and other user tests to launch new features and evaluate existing features
  • Problem solver with the ability to distill business challenges into simple and intuitive designs
  • An attention to detail, with an understanding of the big picture, to work on multiple projects, with time-management skills that support a bottom line approach focused on meeting deadlines
  • Industry knowledge in the clinical field associated with fertility would be a big plus.
