About the job

Do you want to use your UX experience to shape the future of healthcare and save lives?

We’re looking for a Senior UX Researcher to join our vibrant team at Pacmed. You’ll be leading research on our flagship product Pacmed Critical and working with a world-class multidisciplinary team that includes product managers, engineers, data scientists and medical experts.

Your work will span every step of the product life cycle, from assessing the needs of intensive care physicians and identifying new product opportunities, right the way through to usability testing our existing product offering and understanding where it can be improved. You’ll be conducting your research on-site in leading hospitals and care institutions in the Netherlands.

About you

You’ll have:

  • At least 5 years experience working as a user experience researcher

  • Experience with a range of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies including: contextual inquiry, task analysis, interviewing and A/B testing

  • Skills in turning data into accessible and communicable insights using tools like user journey mapping, personas and service blueprints

  • Experience working with product teams to identify key research questions and then planning and delivering research studies to address these areas of inquiry

  • A proven track record in effectively communicating findings to your teammates and bringing the user into the heart of organisational decision making

  • Experience working successfully in agile, cross-functional teams and within a Scrum framework

  • Great Dutch and English language skills. English is the working language of the company and our users are (mostly) Dutch

  • Experience working in healthcare or with medical devices is a bonus, but not essential

  • Extra points if you’ve worked with AI, or with B2B software products

What do you get?

  • Competitive salary, pension contribution and performance related bonus

  • An exceptional and inclusive working culture where fun is a key part of the working day

  • Great opportunities for professional development (e.g., budget for online courses or attending conferences).

  • The chance to work with an exciting, talented and mission-driven team from diverse backgrounds including: medical experts, engineers, data scientists and researchers
