Deeply understanding our users and detailing their needs and wants is a fundamental step in building the experiences and products that enrich daily lives! As an Experience Designer, you will help set the stage and plan out the future of Pelmorex’s eCommerce business.
What's The Day to Day Like?
- Designing innovative user journeys which are inspired by weather moments and help Canadians find the things they need to be prepared for and enjoy all those moments have to offer
- Working closely with the product and editorial teams to craft the ideal purchase journey and understand the various roles of product recommendation content
- Researching key purchasing trends to develop visionary and multi platform commerce journeys
- Understanding existing products and businesses to strategically improve overall user experience
Qualifications (Must Haves)
- Bachelor’s degree in design or 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Strong innovative thinker with an understanding of the consumer purchasing funnel
- Excellent problem solving skills and the technical knowledge to understand and navigate the limitations current products will have on designs
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and ideating new products and experiences from scratch
