Role Summary
As a User Experience (UX) Designer for U.Group, you will participate in research activities, derive insights, generate concepts and prototypes, communicate those concepts visually, and work with developers and product managers to build and test a final solution. You will work on cross-functional teams of experts in design, product strategy, technical architecture, software engineering and data science to deliver digital products and services for clients. Along the way, you’ll participate in the creation of customer journey maps and user flows, sitemaps and wireframes, usability testing, and collaborative client workshops, all of which will require a combination of technical skills and communication skills. As a member of this team, you will demonstrate experience in UX that spans two or three different disciplines, such as User Research, Information Architecture, Interaction Design, or Product Design.
Citizenship Status: US Citizenship required and have resided in the U.S. for three of the past five years.

Key Objectives
Objective 1: Work with project teams and customer stakeholders as the team performs user experience design and research activities
- Participate in discovery methods to explore problem definition, build strategies and plan for comprehensive, user-centered solutions
- Assist with the facilitation of meetings, workshops, research sessions, and interviews with stakeholders, subject matter experts and users.
- Define, test, validate and document user requirements by working closely with the project team and customer stakeholders through iterative research methods and processes.
- Collaborate on cross-functional teams guiding them towards a strategic vision for large scale, cloud-based applications.
Objective 2: Participate in the planning, moderating, and analysis of research into insights and recommendations to identify problems, uncover the root cause, and create solutions for customers to help their users have exceptional experiences
- Participate in planning and conducting thoughtful and ethical user research
- Assist with the definition of innovative, high-level product strategies informed by the user research and feedback
- Participant with the research analysis and synthesis to determine patterns in the research data that can inform product design and development
- Support the facilitation of usability testing of prototypes and production versions of the solution to determine areas of improvement and enhancement
Objective 3: Collaborate with fellow team members to design complex concepts and interactions into visually coherent wireframes or interactive prototypes
- Create a wide variety of UX deliverables that might be needed by a project, e.g. sketches, process flows, journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes, etc*
- Present and collect feedback on early designs and prototypes to the customer, team members and managers through appropriate assets (i.e. sketches, wireframes, prototypes, documentation, spreadsheets, sitemaps, user flows, personas).
- Assist and document user stories and user requirements that represent user goals and needs to help guide product development
- Participate in collaborative designing sessions with the customer, project team, and stakeholders to create a shared vision and understanding of the program
