About the role:
As a UX/UI Writer at Samsara, you will create copy for products and services that our customers use every day to run their infrastructure. We’re looking for someone who is excited to shape the experience of our platform across industries such as transportation, logistics, construction, food and beverage, government and more.
In this role, you will:
- Independently write copy for mobile and desktop experiences
- Partner with Design, Product, Engineering and Customer Success to deliver improvements to existing products and introduce new ones
- Influence the team at scale via style guidelines, feedback and editing
- Engage with customers to understand their operations, their needs, and existing language
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
Minimum requirements for the role:
- An outstanding portfolio showcasing your UI/UX writing and editing skills
- A proven track record of shipping high-impact work to users/customers
- A drive to continuously improve yourself, the team, and product experiences
- Previous experience creating style guides
- Around 4 years of experience writing for products on desktop and mobile
