The UX/UI Designer will be responsible for UX/UI vision, process, design strategy, and execution at the project level including mobile, consumer, and enterprise applications.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

    • Provide usability and UX guidance and best practice recommendations throughout the design and delivery of custom software applications 
    • Collaborate with design lead, product owners, business analysts, and business sponsors to gather and evaluate user requirements 
    • Lead design review presentations and facilitate customer/team meetings on design direction and design rationale 
    • Create artifacts such as use cases, user journeys, user flow diagrams, personas, storyboards and other visual artifacts to capture requirements and project vision from UX perspective 
    • Collaborate with development teams and customers throughout the project lifecycle to ensure feasibility of design 
    • Lead UX design and implementation on projects including interaction design, interface design and user testing/analysis 
    • Solid experience in creating wireframes, mock-ups, prototypes and user interfaces for desktop and mobile platforms that align to design systems and/or UI frameworks. 
    • Provide design standards/guidelines and share UX/UI knowledge  

‘Must Have’ Skills and Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of experience as a UX Designer 
    • Proven experience in design and implementation of UX/UI for consumer and enterprise applications across a variety of platforms 
    • Proven client-facing, partnership and presentation skills
    • Current in UX best practices and demonstrates enthusiasm for related technologies/trends
    • Proven ability to balance multiple projects and priorities while meeting client and team expectations 
    • Expertise with UX tools e.g., Figma, Sketch,Adobe Suite 

’Nice to Have’ Skills and Qualifications:

    • Exposure to and enthusiasm for Agile approaches to software development
    • Working knowledge of current web and mobile accessibility design standards 
    • Fluent and current in front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) 
    • Creative flair and solid understanding of composition, typography, print production, logo design and graphic design
    • Diverse outside interests
