In one year you’ll know you were successful if…

  • You led all aspects of critical research efforts that furthered our understanding of the user and informed experience or product strategy.
  • You contributed to shaping how the org develops UX Research as a core competency.
  • You built strong relationships with cross-functional partners by being an adaptable and empathetic collaborator.
  • You’ve educated partners and teams on “what good looks like” when it comes to thoughtful and rigorous UX Research.
  • You demonstrated an experimental, creative, and persistent approach to creating an impact through research. 

A background like this helps: 

  • Track record of leading UX Research using a variety of methods (including qualitative interviews, surveys, field research, and usability testing).
  • Devotion to excellence along every step of the research process alongside the ability to communicate trade-offs when faced with constraints. 
  • Experience designing, analyzing and communicating impactful research in an agile, earlier stage product development process.
  • Inherent interest in shaping emerging UX Research processes and resources.
  • Comfortable in environments where thorough documentation and over communication are critical – especially when collaborating with remote colleagues in different time zones.
  • Passion for asking the right questions and ability to explore all available resources to formulate solutions to complex problems.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and exceptionally proactive about guiding strategic thinking in a greenfield, innovative product space.
  • Experience broadly socializing UX Research findings, best practices, and a user-centric approach throughout an organization.
  • Demonstrable portfolio or reports of past work that showcase excellent storytelling skills and a breakdown of your research planning, process, and decisions.
  • You value (and are excited about contributing to) a team culture that values authenticity, candidness, growth, and fun.

Bonus points: 

  • UX Research experience with a complex domain space (such as Enterprise SAAS, FinTech, or cryptocurrency).
  • Natural interest in blockchain technology.
  • High-growth startup environment experience.
  • Some experience with mixed-methods UX Research. 
  • Experimental attitude towards the latest UX Research tools and methods.
  • Master’s degree or PhD in a related field.

As an employer, Chainalysis is obliged to ensure a healthy and safe working environment. This means that we must try to prevent the coronavirus from spreading inside the workplace and all employees are obliged to follow the local regulations issued by the relevant health authorities.  

  • To help support a safe work environment, we encourage all employees in EMEA to get fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
  • Employees will not be required to attend an event or in-person customer meeting. 
  • Employees in the EU and the UK are allowed to travel internationally for internal meetings to any country deemed “green or amber” by the EU and the UK authorities. All attendees for Chainalysis in-person events or meetings will be required to adhere to the following guidelines:  
    • International travel will only be permitted if you receive approval from both your manager and Executive Leader
    • You must familiarize yourself and comply with any screening/safety protocols imposed by the entity/individual hosting the in-person meeting or event
    • You must comply with any and all safety guidelines and travel restrictions established by applicable law  
    • If you are in close or proximate contact with others at the event/customer site and test positive for COVID-19, you must immediately notify the People Team and avoid contact with others for 10 days

With circumstances changing on a regular basis and parts of our APAC team going in and out of mandatory lockdown, APAC will continue to follow country legislation and guidelines.
