Senior Product Designer

As a Senior Product Designer, you will be responsible for:

• Collaborating closely with product, design, and development team members to understand existing state functionality, establish new concepts, and determine the best way forward to align with our vision.
• Drafting user flows, wireframes, and other necessary artifacts to drive the design process toward a user-centred outcome.
• Delivering high-fidelity screens and prototypes in Figma (using our robust design system), document logic and edge cases, and communicate your design intent to a remote development team.
• Ensuring what is designed in Figma is maintained through to development and performing design QA before the design is ready for release.
• Engaging in user research and collaborating with our UX Researcher.
• Advocating for the value of human-centred design throughout the organisation.
• Leading and helping others grow, including mentoring a soon-to-be small team of designers.

This role is for you if:

• You can work heads-down for periods and know when to come up for air to ask questions or signal for help.
• You believe that design is the details and want to ensure that those details make a difference in the user's experience.
• You're confident, articulate, and sensitive to the needs of others - whether they are users, developers, or other collaborators.
• You love the idea of working with team members from different backgrounds, and you're okay occasionally working outside your standard hours to share the inconvenience of time zones.
• You've worked as a Senior Product Designer in an agile environment for a few years, and you're looking to take a step up in leadership and responsibility.
• You have a collaborative disposition, are kindhearted, and are generous with feedback.
• You're familiar with front-end development technologies behind the web.

Bonus points if you:

• Have product design experience at a SaaS company
• Have experience with CRMs or Messaging software
