The Senior UX Designer will join a transformation stream where design practices will be applied to deliver a green-field strategic platform, in the context of fundamental process re-design. This is a unique opportunity to deliver impact through design practice. The transformation stream will drive enterprise Design Thinking and co-creation activities, iterate service blueprints and UX design, and ultimately populate product backlog for multiple strategic engineering streams. The Senior UX Designer will participate in upstream design processes, prototype and iterate user interaction design through to service blueprints and UI specifications.

The position is based in Ireland and may require some international travel to other CITCO locations. This position reports to Head of IT Service Delivery in Dublin, and the successful candidate will interact with business stakeholders, and other technical groups.

Your Role

• Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, engineers and product managers to deliver elegant user experience design
• Communicate UX through the design process with prototypes, wireframes, service blueprints and high-fidelity prototypes
• Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing specifications
• Advocate prioritization of design-centered changes, refinements, and improvements

About You

General

• Passionate about user-centered design, systems thinker, visual designer
• Ability to apply design principles to complex problems, from conceptual to detailed design stage
• Self-motivated and adaptable, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ready to join a great design team: strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to navigate a dynamic cross-functional environment
• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or equivalent education and experience

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in an interaction design role, with supporting portfolio
• UX fundamentals: research, wireframes, mockups, prototyping, usability testing
• Experience in usage of design systems to drive coherent design practices
• Beneficial: co-creation facilitation
• Beneficial: research experience, e.g. in-depth interviews, analytics, research methods
