About the role
As our Product Designer, you will be responsible for the customer experience and design of our consumer mobile products. You will lead the design of our mobile products and provide structure and process as the business grows. You will focus on usability and experience, using lean methodologies to help the team build the right product, quickly.

Responsibilities
-Taking ownership and leading the UI and UX design, bringing to life the customer experience and the business vision/mission
-Have a human-focused approach to design, meaning you perfectly balance customer need and business requirements
-Produce and communicate design prototypes
-Continually gather feedback and learnings to improve design of existing products
-Ensure that research and testing are embedded into your process.
-Ensuring there is a clear vision and purpose and we are embodying and communicating our company values with effective solutions to solve business and customer pain points
-Ask the right questions and seek feedback, you might need to treat requirements as assumptions and validate them.
-Working closely with engineers to build out the product and maintain consistencies across brand and product
-Working closely with the customer care and support teams to gather insight into customer feedback
-Help create a culture of design thinking, valuing a human centred approach that integrates the needs of the customers and the business
-Articulate how the product meets the user's needs by communicating their imagination in words. A true designer has a narrative, and tells the story with authority

Requirements
-A passion for creating products people love, caring about product performance is key
-Proven work experience in product design in a fast paced environment (minimum 5 years) with at least 3 years of experience designing mobile products (both Android and iOS)
-Experience of owning and leading UI and UX design
-Demonstrated ability operating in an ambiguous environment - adaptability is key
-You can think creatively and are resourceful. Experience of all the normal design tools especially Figma
-Quick thinking and intuition, someone who can balance creativity with objective data
-Managing your time and driving momentum within the business by subscribing to lean methodologies
