We are looking for the best Product Designer for our team.
Your Purpose
We are looking for a Product Designer to join our team as our first product person with a focus on UI/UX and product development. We have a world-class product, engineering, and data science team, passionate about our mission of helping consumers take back the control of their digital life, by creating simple yet powerful and private solutions. We're looking for someone, who loves creating beautiful, meaningful, and practical B2C experiences, and is excited by this opportunity to work with us to bring our product concept to life.
What you’ll do:
- Help identify user and product opportunities to guide and define a product market fit as well as continual product direction.
- Start from our users, understanding their needs and and goals, thinking about their entire journey through our app, and translating these needs into designed concepts while continue iterating on our app.
- Ideate and create flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes (low and high fidelity), UI and guidelines. You need to be confident in rapid prototyping, interface design and motion design.
- Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to develop work and deliver on project objectives. Ideally, you should be able to change perspective quickly to grasp the technical specifics.
- Select and set up appropriate agile validation methods and tools for assumption/opportunity/product testing.

We are Memri, and we’re solving a big problem. Tech companies are gathering data and information about everyone browsing the web, but you and I have little control or access to that information. Many of the apps out there are optimized for spending a lot of time on it, instead of reaching goals or being productive. Our attention is being captured, and we as users lose our agency. Memri is trying to fix this.
We are building an open source community that strives to tackle data challenges through shared creativity and collaboration. We want to create a world where technology is better aligned with people’s needs today.
Our vision is large, but our approach is pragmatic. Start small by creating a solution for an existing pain users have, and continue from there. All while staying true to our principles, by making sure our products enable people to retake their attention and control.
Among the core team, we have founders who have built and sold multiple companies to the world’s industry leaders. We are an international company with a hub in Amsterdam and a diverse, remote team based across Europe and Asia.

Requirements
You should apply if the following statements are true for you:
- 5+ years professional experience in digital/mobile/B2C Product/UX/UI design
- Experience working with consumer facing UX/UI for mobile apps
- Understanding on the ML and AI market and products
- A keen eye for visual design and a confident handling of core principles as they apply to interface design
- Deep thinking experience with early stage projects
- Demonstrable experience in successfully conducting user research (qualitative and quantitative) as well as market research
- Experience creating user flows, stories, information architecture, and wireframes
- Strong presence and communication; ability to succinctly present your design decisions and process to anyone, at all levels in the company
