Description

Liiva is looking for an experienced (Senior) Product Designer / UI Designer to join our Product team! You will play a key role in the development and implementation of new product designs to capitalize on new market opportunities.

Where: Office in Zürich Binz and remote (?50% office presence suggested)

When: Start date is not as important as the finding the right candidate for our team

Pensum: 80-100%

How much: Expected salary range is 85,000 - 105,000 CHF

Your fellow Liivians will rely on you to:

  • Articulate complex user problems and visualise solutions for them
  • Make informed decisions based on available information and research evidence
  • Take ownership of your design choices and ensure cohesive usage across the platform
  • Craft high quality, high fidelity, responsive designs that reflect Liiva’s user-centric values
  • Create prototypes to test hypotheses and gather fast feedback
  • Collaborate with software developers effectively and comfortably
  • Represent the UX perspective in product walkthroughs and reviews, using strong communication skills
  • Support the culture of our growing team by acting with integrity, openness and honesty. We encourage healthy discussion and challenging each other’s ideas

You have:

  • 3-5 years of experience designing responsive web applications
  • A robust online portfolio with web design, mobile app, or other digital design samples
  • Proficiency with Figma and contemporary design/prototyping tools
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
  • An interest in understanding and improving user experience of digital products
  • Fluent in English (our company language); German & Swiss German a plus
  • Valid Swiss working permit

Bonus points if you have:

  • A university degree in Visual/UX/Interaction Design, or a related design or scientific discipline
  • Experience working in a startup environment
  • Academic, professional, or life experience from outside the design field that enriches your perspective as a designer
