Senior UX Designer

THE ROLE 

As a Senior UX Designer at doxo, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team working to solve some unique product design challenges in the online bill pay space, bringing your experience with web and mobile product design, application of brand and style guidelines, and modular UI design practices to create immersive digital experiences. Bring your relentlessly high standards for doxo’s users and ensure that we’re elevating the experience, look, and feel of our products.

Reporting to the Senior Director of UX, this key role will be focused on all aspects of consumer bill pay experience. You will be working closely with Product Managers, key stakeholders, and a team of developers to evolve our product.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Primary focus will be the design of our consumer application UX, and ensuring consistency in style, theme, language, brand identity assets in that work.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product and Marketing to execute on our roadmap and help drive doxo’s iterative design process forward
  • Collaborate on the product production design process to execute the strategy with an eye for detail and consistency in collaboration with product management & engineering
  • Manage multiple project deliverables as a key contributor of the product development team
  • Work with the Senior Director of UX to actively shape and steer doxo’s product design system, including perspective on design components, frameworks, and UI libraries
  • Push the boundaries of design beyond the "functional" to building products that people love to use every single day. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of relevant design experience
  • Experience working on consumer facing products across web, mobile web, and native mobile applications
  • Experience working on business application tools for B2B users and/or SaaS platforms a plus
  • Self-starter - can take high level objectives and identify a methodology for breaking down a design problem independently
  • Thrives in fast-paced and rapidly changing environments – can quickly adjust/adapt based on stakeholder and customer feedback
  • Familiarity with modern UX/UI patterns and component libraries & frameworks
  • Experience in agile methodologies, lean UX, and iterative product design, while also recognizing the place for blank-slate design innovation when necessary
  • Portfolio of design work that includes web & mobile UX/UI, branding & identity work, standards and style guide development

The annual base salary for this role is $130,000 - $165,000.  Starting pay will be based on several factors and commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Stock Options are also part of the compensation package for full time roles.
