UI / UX Designer

We have a great position for a talented individual with a strong visual and UX skills to join the design team at Hi Mum! Said Dad.

This a permanent role based in Shoreditch, London.

Key responsibilities

• Produce beautiful, clean and intuitive UI designs for our amazing clients.

• Be a leading voice for mobile user interface design trends.

• Work closely with the project/account teams

• Contribute to the development of design systems and component libraries.

• Work closely with UX designers and the wider team to influence your designs.

• Be a champion of good process

• Pursue your fascination with the current and future state of digital product design

• Be a good internal communicator - get the rest of the agency on board and talk passionately about design

Key requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in digital /product agency environment

• Solid native mobile experience

• Sociable, driven, a self starter enthusiastic about design and innovation

• Comfortable presenting and articulating work (internally and externally)

• Creating and identifying opportunities for business and clients

• Designing with data

• Rapid prototyping

• A good understanding of the technical implications of design choices

• Naturally solution-oriented and able to quickly adapt and offer ideas

• Willingness to go above and beyond to achieve excellence and capable of working in a collaborative environment

• Working closely with agile dev teams

• Empathetic and inclusive

Skills  

• Sketch, but also Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator etc when needed 
• Sketch cloud, InVision or Marvel 
• Framer, Flinto, Principle or similar 
• Draw.io or similar 
• Zeplin

Other 

• Fluency in English
