The Role
- We seek a talented Senior UX Writer to join our team at Zeta in India. The ideal candidate should have 4 to 6 years of experience in UX writing and content design, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality content. The Senior UX Writer will be part of the Content Design team for a specific Organisational Unit (Plutus) within Zeta at Level 3. They will work closely with Zeta's UX/UI design, Product management, and Customer support team to create user-centric content and ensure a seamless user experience across all of Zeta's digital products. They will need to align with Zeta's business objectives and user needs. The candidate should demonstrate a passion for writing, an eye for detail, and a strong understanding of UX research methodologies. Any experience with Fintech products is a plus.
What would you do here?
- Create high-quality, clear, concise content that aligns with the user's needs and Zeta's business objectives for digital products, from in-app interface copies and notifications to Help & Support.
- Collaborate with the Plutus UX design team at Zeta to ensure content is well-integrated with the design and supports the user experience for digital products.
- Conduct UX research to gain insights into user behaviour and needs and use this knowledge to inform content creation for Zeta's digital products.
- Develop and maintain a content design system or style guide for Plutus that designers and project managers may use to ensure consistency across all its products.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior UX writers (L1) within the team and at Zeta.
- Continuously improve content based on feedback from users and stakeholders for Zeta's digital products.
- Driving the UX content process and pipeline through learning and experiments.
What are we looking for?
- Qualifications and Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in UX writing and content design, preferably in the digital products industry
- Strong portfolio that demonstrates excellent writing skills and ability to create user-centric content for digital products
- Deep understanding of UX design principles and methodologies for digital products
- Experience with UX research, including conducting user interviews, usability testing, and analyzing user feedback for digital products
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams at Zeta
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Great attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Preferred Skills:
- Formal qualification in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field (although not a must)
- Knowledge and experience in Content Design for digital products
- Experience working with Agile methodologies for digital products
- Knowledge of SEO best practices for digital products
- Experience with localisation and internationalisation of digital products
- Fluency in a second language, especially Hindi
- Well-versed and up-to-date with pop-culture references and colloquial speech.
- Interested and receptive to learning and applying prompt engineering to leverage AI technology
- Experience with Fintech products is a plus.
