Translates business and customer needs to high-quality design solutions using various design and research methodologies to ensure an excellent user experience
Collaborates directly with other designers, quality assurance officers, product managers, product owners, software engineers, and business analysts
Dig into existing research of our end users (Passenger App users, Biker App users, or our employees)
Run your own user research to understand their pain points, workflow, and needs better
Build a deep understanding of our customers and the problems we are solving for them, beyond the interfaces we build
Help create personas/characters, journey maps, and defining stories ? Sketch mockups and build prototypes both for web and mobile apps
Build/Design and maintain components for the Design System
Help establish design guidelines and implement them
Help build design solutions that engage customers and keep them fully informed and constantly delighted
Present design solutions to stakeholders
Work closely across multiple teams at Angkas
Be an advocate of Angkas’ design culture and philosophy internally and externally

At least 3-5 years experience in UX Research
Has a Bachelor's/College Degree, preferably (but not required) Computer Science/ Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/ Telecommunication/ ECE) or equivalent.
Knowledgeable in various User Research Methodologies and their application in Agile environments
Ability to organize and or facilitate design workshops to better understand the stakeholders' needs
Proficient in Figma and other design/prototyping tools and experienced in using centralized design libraries
Good communication and problem-solving skills. Must be able to clearly communicate his/her designs and ideas to different stakeholders
Basic understanding of GESTALT principles for visual design
Ability to work in a scrum/agile environment
Ability to work with multiple designers in a collaborative environment
Excellent collaboration skills to work with and across various groups and levels of management within the organization
Can explain complex problems and decisions in an easy to understand way, and point to principles, research, or past experience to support
Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills to drive impact
Strong analytical and strategic mindset
Highly creative and see opportunities vs. problems
Knowledgeable about usability and principles of effective design
Willing to work from the office most of the time and remotely, as necessary
