As a Senior Product Designer, you'll play a key role in developing innovative client experiences across multiple touchpoints. Your work will contribute to our award-winning experiences and help us set the pace for the industry.

A Senior Product Designer collaborates with Product Managers, Engineers, Analytics, Creative, and other designers to imagine and document a seamless and delightful Sephora client experience across web (mobile web and desktop), apps (iOS and Android), stores (cast & client facing in-store digital experiences), and other touchpoints (emerging technology).

  • Collaborate with product managers to identify opportunities, conceptualize new projects, and aid in the definition of requirements
  • Work with program and project managers to estimate time requirements, set milestones, and meet deadlines
  • Produce low fidelity sketches and flows to validate ideas at the concept stage
  • Build prototypes to test with users and convey desired interaction to stakeholders
  • Work closely with a UX researcher to test proposed designs at various fidelity/prototype phases
  • Create high fidelity pixel-perfect screen designs and provide detailed specifications and assets to developers
  • Communicate with engineering teams to ensure final products match design intent
  • Maintain well-organized Figma files and contribute to a strong design system

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong emphasis on user experience and user interface design for web and mobile applications
  • Experience designing for e-commerce preferred
  • Expertise in Figma, including Design Systems and Libraries
  • Experience with design systems and component-based design approaches
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and design trends
  • Proven experience in creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
  • Exceptional visual design skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with responsive design and designing for different devices and platforms
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and create design solutions
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively articulate design concepts and rationale to various audiences
  • Experience partnering with researchers to conducting user research, usability testing, and incorporating findings into design iterations
  • A portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects, including both process and final deliverables.
  • Experience with JIRA preferred

Benefits

This is a consulting/contractor role. Contract to hire is possible, but not assured. The role requires full-time hours, approximately 40 hours per week, with a 9-5 PT schedule. This role is hybrid and will require in-office collaboration in San Francisco.
