Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and mentor a team of UX/Product Designers, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and innovation, while setting clear goals and expectations for individual growth and team performance.
2. Develop and execute a comprehensive design strategy aligned with the company's vision and objectives, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and user-centric design solutions.
3. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to develop user-centred solutions that address both business and user needs.
4. Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and decision-makers, effectively communicating design vision, strategy, and rationale.
5. Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions and validate design solutions, while advocating for user needs and championing user-centred design principles throughout the product development process.
6. Develop and maintain design systems, including UI components, patterns, and style guides, ensuring their consistent implementation across all products.
7. Continuously monitor industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to stay at the forefront of UX/Product Design and incorporate new ideas and approaches into the team's work.

Qualifications:

1. 7+ years of experience in UX/Product Design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating user-centred design solutions for web and mobile applications.
2. Proven experience in leading, managing, and mentoring a team of UX/Product Designers, with a focus on fostering growth, collaboration, and strategic thinking.
3. Deep understanding of user-centred design principles, methodologies, and best practices.
4. Strong proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools like InVision and Principle.
5. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
6. Experience working in an agile development environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
