Position Overview:
Bulletproof is looking for a contract UI/UX Designero join a fast-paced creative team. As a UI/UX designer, you must have a strong understanding of visual design, user research, and mobile and web design best practices. You will identify and collaborate with the team on new opportunities to create better user experiences on the wite. You will create and maintain aesthetically pleasing branding strategies to effectively reach more customers while ensuring that the end-to-end customer journey meets the company and team desired outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create visually appealing, intuitive and functional web designs based on requirements and aligned with Bulletproof brand guidelines
• Creating user-centered experiences by understanding business requirements, customer feedback, site metrics, and usability findings
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, mockups, and design specifications to improve everyday site experience as well as promotional site experience
• Using a set of established design and visual patterns to strengthen consistency across site experience, including competitive benchmarking
• Prepare and present projects to internal teams and key stakeholders
• Collaborate closely with Design, Copy, Ecomm and Development team members to ensure features are implemented as designed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), and/or a background in Visual Design
• 5+ years of experience in user interface and user experience design
• Experience creating both low-fidelity and high-fidelity design deliverables, such as wireframes, interactive prototypes, and visual designs
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality design solutions on time.
• An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating relevant experience
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts and ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality design solutions on time
• Proficiency with Figma and Zeplin
• General understanding of HTML/CSS
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence or similar project management software is a plus

Hourly rate: $40 to $70. The base hourly rate represents the anticipated low and high end of the range for this position.

This is a contract position that is open to local Seattle-area candidates, as well as remote candidates in any location throughout the U.S.; regardless, the position will start in a remote capacity.
