The Nox Cloud Platform was designed to connect all the different groups that are involved in a person’s sleep health care, that involves the individual (Population), Payers and the Providers.

Nox is expanding the use of the Nox Cloud infrastructure beyond the initial SleepCharge (Nox Health Enterprise business), and at the same time making the necessary changes to enhance the user experience for each of the user groups. This includes expanding our platform capabilities and creating dedicated access and plans for each group.

To help support this strategy, Nox is seeking a talented and experienced Senior UX Designer and Researcher/Head of Design, with a strong focus on mobile app design to join our dynamic and innovative team. This is a unique user experience role. As Head of Design, you will have the opportunity to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for both our web and mobile applications. Your expertise in UX design principles, user research, and mobile app design trends will be crucial in delivering exceptional user experiences that meet our customers' needs and expectations.


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, and designers, to conceptualize and design customer experiences for our mobile and web applications. Create a seamless and consistent user experience across platforms while considering the unique characteristics of mobile and web environments.
  • Lead various research studies throughout all phases of the product development cycle, using various methods such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gain insights into user behaviors, needs and preferences. Apply research findings to inform the design process and validate design decisions.
  • Manage significant and complex design projects from start to finish, while maintaining consistent visual standards and keeping the living style guide up to date
  • Develop wireframes, user flows and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions. Iterate on designs based on user feedback and usability testing results to refine the user experience.
  • Create visually appealing and engaging designs, adhering to platform-specific guidelines and best practices. Evaluate accessibility requirements for all designs. Collaborate closely with product management and development to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
  • Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to gather feedback on the usability and effectiveness of the application. Analyze results and iterate on designs to continually improve user experience and address pain points.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure design consistency and integration of UX solutions across platforms.
  • Mentoring other designers through design reviews and proactively providing feedback and answering questions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest UX design trends, mobile and web design patterns, and emerging technologies.
  • Manage a team of researchers and designers.


  • At least 6 years experience leading UX design in a team environment, with a focus on both mobile and web design. Showcase a strong portfolio demonstrating your expertise in designing intuitive and visually appealing interfaces for both platforms.
  • Understanding of the principles of human-centered design that drive engagement and usability.
  • Knowledge of information architecture, task analysis and workflow design.
  • Proficiency in creating platform-specific design guidelines, responsive design principles, and accessibility considerations.
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, user research methodologies, and usability testing techniques. Ability to apply user insights to inform design decisions and create seamless experiences for both mobile and web interfaces
  • Proficiency in industry-specific design tools, such as Figma or similar. Experience with prototyping tools, such as InVision, Marvel or similar.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and other teams from across the organization, including our executive team. Experience in working with cross-functional teams and agile development environments.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities. Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills and a passion for innovative and intuitive user experiences.
  • A degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCA), or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Possess the ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.
  • Strict attention to detail, organizational skills and follow-through.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving is essential.
