The Koddi product team is looking for an experienced user experience designer to help lead in the design of world-class, engaging user experiences for our products.The ideal candidate will thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem-solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. This individual should excel at simplifying the complex and delivering “Don’t Make Me Think” interfaces. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in a fast-paced and innovative development environment. A thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies, and enterprise software, is a must.
What you will do
- Execute user experience, interaction and visual design as a part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Consult and collaborate with team members and stakeholders on designs, requirements and strategies
- Work closely with leadership, product and engineering teams to execute the product roadmap
- Produce wireframes, user flows, mockups, visual design comps, and interactive prototypes of your UX ideas
- Efficiently and intelligently iterate designs by adjusting to technical requirements, engaging users and stakeholders and incorporating findings into the design
- Keep up with, and share perspective on, digital advertising and design trends
- Construct working prototypes as part of new product validation
- Successfully communicate conceptual ideas, design rationale and the specifics of user-centered design process to stakeholders
What skills and experience you bring
- A minimum of 3+ years of user experience design in a professional B2B enterprise environment working with SaaS applications
- Bachelor’s Degree in design, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), or related field
- Ability to understand functional user stories to refine and enhance solutions within the team
- Strong conceptualization and visual communication abilities
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, InVision, and other design tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working with remote product and engineering teams
- Some projects offer well-defined requirements, others offer ambiguity and flexibility. This designer must be comfortable in both situations
- Understanding of common software project management practices and Agile development
- A solid grasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies, subsystems, and usability and accessibility concerns
- Exceptional ability to manage multiple work streams
- A confident professional with an entrepreneurial spirit who is not afraid to ask “why?” and provide a solution
- Must have great attention to detail and design principles including; graphic design, layout, typography, color
- Self-motivated and results-oriented
- Possess a strong passion for customers AND for the value our product provides
- Able to take smart risks and champion new ideas
- Familiarity with digital analytics platforms
- Experience conducting user research and usability studies when practical is a plus
