UX Strategist

We are looking for a UX Lead/Strategist to join our team and help drive the success of our client engagements. The UX Lead/Strategist will be responsible for defining user experience strategies and ensuring that all products meet user needs and client expectations.

The successful candidate will be an experienced UX professional with strong knowledge of best practices and the ability to lead projects and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.  This is a hybrid position.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and evaluation of user experience strategies
• Facilitate alignment workshops and 1:1 interviews to both ideate, discover, and highlight inconsistencies in project requirements
• Develop user experience plans, wireframes, and artifacts for better understanding and alignment of business and user objectives (personas, design principles, storyboards,
• Guide the design and creation of prototypes, and other visual elements
• Identify and facilitate user research activities to best validate and align with clients on a desirable and performative experience.
• Analyze user feedback and use it to inform product improvements
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams and designers to ensure designs meet user needs
• Maintain and articulate the value of product style guides and design guidelines
• Monitor industry trends and best practices and how to apply them to product designs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in UI/UX design or related field
• 8+ years of UX research or design experience
• Proficient in some design software and ability to create visually interesting workshops and readouts
• Strong understanding of user experience principles, user research, and usability testing (RITE, SUS, SEQ)
• Strong presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Creativity and a strong attention to detail
• Experience with Agile development methodology is preferred
• Previous consulting experience is preferred
