Our agile centralized development teams powered by our on-site senior leadership allow us to work with you as a stand-alone group be it integrating into your in-house dev teams or providing external architectural guidance.
We're currently seeking a highly creative UI/UX designer to support one of our top clients in the media and technology industry, which focuses on serving a black female audience. The ideal candidate will play a key role in optimizing the customer experience by identifying and implementing innovative solutions that drive desired outcomes across the entire product and service journey. This is an amazing opportunity to collaborate with a forward-thinking company that's committed to enhancing its customers' experience and setting new standards in the industry.
As part of this project you would be collaborating with product owners on validating requirements, proposing solutions, designs and interacting with technical team members including mainly front-end engineers but also backend developers and business representatives among others in the implementation of these solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design intuitive and visually appealing interfaces for our client’s digital products, including websites, mobile apps, and other digital assets
- Conduct user research and develop user personas to guide design decisions
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
- Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets and create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design concepts and ideas
- Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback and collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure that design concepts are implemented accurately and efficiently
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and incorporate them into the design process
Requirements:
- Strong experience with interface design tools (Figma or Invision preferred)
- Strong experience troubleshooting UX problems.
- Experience working under Agile methodologies
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio of work showcasing design skills
Soft Skills:
- Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Proactive attitude, strong sense of self-motivation, organization, attention to detail and analytical skills.
Nice to have/It is a plus:
- Knowledge of front-end web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
