Junior UX/UI Designer

Sleed, a digital marketing agency with many years of field experience and a strategic partner of Google, is looking for a Junior UX/UI Designer to create engaging designs according to requirements. You will work under the supervision of a Senior Designer to produce quality work.

We are seeking a creative and passionate Junior UX/UI Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess experience in designing user interfaces for web applications and websites, along with a portfolio showcasing design projects that demonstrate an understanding of UX/UI principles, user-centered design, and problem-solving skills.

The Junior UX/UI Web Designer will be responsible for creating, improving and maintaining the user interface of the websites and web applications we create for our customers. They will work closely with senior designers & our development team to ensure that the designs are implemented properly and meet our high standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation of user-centered designs, including wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, that align with project goals and user needs.
• Collaborate with senior designers to contribute to the development of design concepts, user flows, and interaction patterns.
• Participate in user research activities, such as usability testing and user interviews, to gather insights and validate design decisions.
• Help maintain and update design documentation, style guides, and design systems to ensure design consistency and scalability.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to UX/UI design.
• Assist in creating and delivering design presentations to communicate design concepts and decisions effectively.
• Contribute to design critiques and brainstorming sessions to foster a collaborative and innovative design environment.

• 1 - 2 years of professional experience in a design-related role (internships, freelance work, or personal projects can be considered).
• A portfolio showcasing your design projects and demonstrating your understanding of UX/UI principles, user-centered design, and problem-solving skills.
• A bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop), Figma, or similar tools.
• Basic understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and usability principles.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Attention to detail and a passion for creating polished, visually appealing designs.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to understand design implementation constraints.
• Experience with creating responsive and mobile-friendly designs.
• Basic knowledge of user research methodologies and usability testing.
• Experience with animation and micro-interactions to enhance user experience.
