Senior UI/UX Designer

Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team. The primary focus of this role will be designing intuitive and engaging websites that meet both user needs and business goals. Your expertise in user-centric design principles, visual design, and user behavior will play a key role in delivering websites that offer an outstanding user experience.

Main Responsibilities

Lead the design process of new websites and redesigns from concept through completion.

Able to follow an end-to-end design process, taking a project from ideation to delivery, collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, marketers, and product managers to ensure a seamless and user-centric design flow.

Understand and translate business and user needs into highly engaging and visually appealing design concepts.

Support other members of the team where needed and provide additional perspectives on art-direction for project work.

Partner closely with Project Managers and other senior stakeholders across the company to shape and deliver engaging experiences to our customers.

Bring the voice of the customer into your everyday work through running user research and leaning on personas in your designs.

Duties

Conduct user research, interviews, and surveys to gather insights and inform design decisions.

Design products that meet user and business needs, and balance them with technical constraints.

Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards to ensure consistency across all web projects.

Comfortable cycling through different phases of our design-thinking framework and iterating frequently through: Discovery (research), Definition (personas), Developing (prototyping) and Delivery (testing and launch).

Make effective design decisions that are driven by both quantitative and qualitative data.

Excellent verbal communication skills in succinctly expressing design and product decisions/goals to your team members.

Care deeply about solving problems with positive attitude.

Adhere to consistency across our internal processes and design system across project work.

Present designs to key stakeholders.

Ability to connect your work with other related initiatives across the company.

Passionate about championing inclusive and accessible design.

Eagerness to collaborate with your teammates and also being self-motivated in fast-paced environments.

Self-motivated and detail oriented approach to project work.

At least 2-3 years experience in Web UI/UX Design

Expertise of working with XD, Figma, InVision & Adobe Creative Suite

An impressive portfolio which demonstrates your end-to-end design process across multiple projects, have strong visual skills and showcase outcomes that you've driven

Experience in strategic product thinking with the ability to understand product goals, identify opportunities, and make decisions based on the impact to people and the company

Experience in planning, running, and synthesizing user research and testing
