Career Now Brands is actively seeking a talented UI/UX Designer with content development experience to join our team and play a crucial role in shaping upcoming design initiatives. As a key Design team member, you will specialize in bringing creativity to life through visually appealing graphics and designs. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with various departments and team leaders, contributing to high-level projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Candidates must be local to metro-Detroit. We are open to full-time or contract basis.

Responsibilities

    • Lead the comprehensive design and development of captivating, user-centric websites using Webflow, harnessing an in-depth understanding of the platform for seamless and innovative web experiences. Conduct user research to understand user needs and goals.
    • Apply expertise in UI/UX design principles to elevate overall user experiences on digital platforms. 
    • Craft intuitive and visually stunning interfaces that resonate with our target audience. Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize product designs.
    • Demonstrate mastery in design tools, including Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Sketch. 
    • Push the boundaries of creativity within the Webflow environment. Collaborate with product managers and engineers to implement product designs.
    • Showcase a high level of organization and attention to detail, ensuring design elements align with brand guidelines and project specifications. 
    • Manage multiple projects concurrently, leveraging project management tools like Monday.com for efficient collaboration and communication within the team.
    • Highly prefer experience in creating media decks and other marketing materials. Contribute to the development of visually compelling materials that amplify our brand’s messaging and promotional efforts.
    • Thrive in a fast-paced environment. Effectively manage tight deadlines, delivering consistently high-quality work. Test product designs with users to gather feedback and iterate on designs. Stay up-to-date on the latest UI/UX trends and best practices.

Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field.
    • 3+ years of hands-on UI/UX experience with Webflow or similar platforms, demonstrating a deep understanding of creating engaging user experiences.
    • Experience as a Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing web design and development projects. 
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Sketch.
    • Familiarity with project management tools like Monday.com.
    • Experience with wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
    • A passion for creating user-friendly and visually appealing products.
    • Previous experience with media deck creation and marketing materials is highly preferred.
    • Nice to have: Experience and proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, VueJS, and/or Tailwind.
    • Candidates must be able to commute to our Royal Oak, MI office multiple times per week to be considered for this position.
