Vertice is hiringUX Designer
Description
Vertice is a rapidly expanding technology company on a mission to help businesses manage their growing spend on SaaS and cloud. Businesses are turning to Vertice to gain visibility and savings on their SaaS stack and cloud spend, taking advantage of pricing insights, trend data, smart dashboards and expert negotiators.
Founded by two brothers, Roy and Eldar Tuvey, with a successful history of building SaaS startups, Vertice has already become one of the fastest growing vendors in the market having raised $26million in our Series A funding.
We’re well positioned to achieve our mission but we need the right people to ensure it happens. We’re looking to scale quickly but responsibly as we embark on an exciting new stage of growth. Headquartered in London, you’ll be joining a global company and working across talented cross-functional teams to drive innovation and make a significant impact.
Your role
We’re looking for a superstar UX Designer to join our growing design function, lead our UX efforts, and work closely with our product team. Reporting into our Design Lead and working alongside our existing Product Designers, the ideal candidate is passionate about both developing UX practices and shipping great product experiences.
You’ll play a key role in shaping the look and feel of Vertice’s product, and crafting a best-in-class customer experience, from conducting user research and testing, to developing wireframes and flows, and working directly with engineers to perfect final product UX.
We believe we have a great design opportunity in a young market, and this role offers a great opportunity for the right candidate to develop their craft in the context of a dynamic, fast-moving team.
Requirements
What you’ll be doing
- Building wireframes and user flows informed by user testing and design research, allowing us to ship complex features with confidence.
- Conducting user testing with both internal and external stakeholders to validate design thinking.
- Continually reviewing and owning the core UX of the Vertice platform to identify friction points and optimize our core user journeys
- Partnering closely with product managers to advise on UX best practices, and to establish UX design playbooks.
- Developing a deep understanding of our user personas to create informed solutions to design problems.
- Work directly with our UI designers to ship prototypes and designs which both satisfy UX requirements, and build on our existing design system.
Things you’ll have done before
- Have 4+ years experience working in a Product Design team and collaborating with product managers and other designers.
- Have excellent communication skills in English and an ability to manage multiple stakeholders across remote working environments
- Have designed for SaaS web dashboards, or data-heavy visualization tools.
Things we like to see
- A strong portfolio showcasing past UX case studies from start to finish
- Ability to understand and speak both, Czech and English
- Experience working with B2B SaaS products and their typical user personas
- Experience within a startup environment or smaller design team, including experience being the sole or founding designer
- Familiarity with moderately complex design problems, often involving displaying large amounts of data or catering a user experience to multiple user types
- Humility, kindness and respect in working with others. We’re hoping to create a supportive and caring culture of high performing people, and your attitude is just as important as your skillset
- Individuals that are eager to start something new; to commit to an ambitious plan and co-create a memorable and meaningful company.
- A playful, imaginative mind with an ability to think creatively, or a deeply analytical approach, able to use data to drive meaningful results. Or, of course, both :)
Why join Vertice?
- Be a part of a fast-growing, innovative startup that is changing the way businesses buy and sell SaaS.
- Work with passionate and talented teams that value your contributions and expertise.
