About the Job

We are seeking a UI/UX Designer for one of the top temporary agencies in NYC.

Duties,

  • The core responsibilities of this role include user interaction design, based on research and analysis, to communicate design motivations and decisions to various stakeholders.
  • The designer will work closely within the digital marketing team and stakeholders to develop world-class websites, portals, and mobile applications.
  • They will own the end-to-end user journey, from ideation to final production, by collaborating with project managers, SEO specialists, creative services, and site authoring.
  • The designer will be responsible for designing wireframes for desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms and educating stakeholders on design decisions and best practices.
  • They will also conduct user research, explore multiple design solutions through A/B testing, and make recommendations for site improvements based on data analysis.

Requirements

  • 6 years of UI/UX experience
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator, and XD)
  • Experience with Sitecore or similar CMS, and Figma
  • Ability to design world-class websites
  • Strong understanding of user experience disciplines, new and emerging UX/UI design best practices
  • Knowledge of typography, color theory, spatial relations, and proportion
  • Well-versed in web optimization and design elements implementation
  • Advanced knowledge of cross-browser compatibility
  • Experience with responsive design and design for the mobile platform
  • Familiarity with test methodologies such as Standard Usability Testing, Comparative Testing, Rapid Iterative Testing, and Prototype Testing
  • Ability to incorporate SEO best practices into design
  • Bachelor’s Degree in User centered design, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or relevant experience
