About the role
As a UI/UX Designer at Wooga, you would be working closely with Producers, Product Managers, Game Designers, UX Specialists, Developers and other Artists on creating an exceptional user experience, approachable for a wide and growing audience of engaged and passionate players.In your role, you will be able to deliver to the highest standard and inspire and mentor other UI/UX Designers both in your team and as a key contributor to the wider UI/UX community at Wooga.
Some of your responsibilities include:
- Working closely with Game Designers and Engineers to define player flows and feature composition, develop feature concepts and create in-game assets.
- Executing all visual design from the conception stage to the implementation.
- Representing UI/UX concerns as part of a feature’s design and development.
- Designing and implementing in-engine UI animations and compositions for both iOS and Android devices.
- Maintaining the consistency of the existing style, with an eye to optimisation, and seeking new opportunities to keep players engaged and excited.
- Documenting UI style and function guides.
- Inspiring others and exchanging feedback.
About you:
- You have a strong portfolio demonstrating your skills.
- You have experience in and knowledge of the requirements of designing for mobile platforms.
- You have experience of implementing and optimising interface elements in Unity or other game engines.
- You have an ability to digest complex feedback and channel it into strong visual designs
- You have worked with and have good knowledge about UCD methodologies.
- You are an experienced user of Adobe products.
- You have a great sense of composition and colour, and a strong graphic design knowledge.
- You believe in an holistic attitude to what is best for the user and the product and have strong, practical problem solving skills.
