As the UX/UI Designer, you will work on our core products and will be responsible for researching and designing enhancements, new features, and end to end experiences through our digital products. The various visual interfaces and constantly evolving technologies at Darktrace will mean there are significant opportunities to use a full product design skill set.

This is a hybrid role, and the expectation would be to work a minimum of 2 days a week in the Cambridge office.

Responsibilities: 

  • Although the output of this role will be visual, the position itself is within the technical department and as such the candidate must be able to work closely within the technical teams.
  • Ensuring the best user experience over desktop, mobile and client apps, factoring in elements of product, troubleshooting and graphics.
  • Understanding the motivation of end users, and to be able to surface Darktrace AI technology that meets the requirements of novice and expert users.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Candidates must submit example portfolio or examples of UX/UI work.
  • Demonstrable ability in developing well designed data driven interfaces.
  • Informational Design/Data Visualization.
  • Strong familiarity with design and graphics packages - experience with Adobe XD an advantage.
  • The role will suit innovative, self-motivated people who can prioritize and follow how they fit into wider progress as well as skilfully solve their immediate challenges.
  • Applications are welcomed from both experienced engineers and recent graduates.
