Please note, this is a remote position in the East Coast of USA (EST preferred). 

We’re looking for a seasoned Brand/UX Designer to shape the next chapter of our brand and execute on the vision. You’ll support a multi-disciplinary Marketing team and collaborate with partners across the business to scale our impact, while maintaining the highest standards of quality.  

Our Brand/UX Designer will be responsible for overall design output, high-level creative direction, managing projects end-to-end, and maintaining velocity. You’ll help make the abstract ask clearer, the challenging project happen, and the process of making our brand more engaging for target personas and decision-makers alike. 

What You'll Be Doing:

    • Drive strategy and execution to elevate brand storytelling across our site, emails, internal and external comms, ad creative, white papers, marketing collateral, talent brand, and more.
    • Optimize the user experience of our website.
    • Work cross-functionally with teams including Content, Video, Events, Product, Research, and Sales to deliver compelling and engaging designs as part of initiatives aligned to company business goals. 
    • Develop brand as a differentiator for Patsnap. 
    • Engage across all stages of our design projects. You’ll use your skills in concepting, wireframing, prototyping, design systems, user interface, user research, etc. 
    • Identify the best design methods to articulate your solutions (flows, prototypes, wireframes, high fidelity design, etc.).
    • Collaborate with Web team to translate your designs into incredible site experiences. 
    • Be the leading architect and voice in ensuring consistent brand execution.  

About You:

    • 6+ years of brand/UX design experience, ideally in tech. 
    • Highest bar for quality of design.
    • Experience designing for a technical audience (API products, developer tools, etc.). 
    • Curious about Patsnap’s target personas: IP and R&D teams. 
    • Excels at working with creative talent and all kinds of creative formats, from design to video, including contractors, agencies, and other specialists. 
    • Leader equally at home driving execution, facilitating a workshop, whiteboarding on a new idea, elevating and refining a concept, or knowing the right collaborator for a campaign.  
    • Empathetic and collaborative cross-functional partner able to crisply and precisely communicate design intent and drive alignment on decisions and next steps. 
    • Highly organized, strong partner to both Content Strategy and operational partners across the Marketing team 
    • Strong skills/experience with motion design is a bonus.
