Position Overview:

As a UI/UX Designer at CaryHealth, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of healthcare by creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and leverage your design expertise to deliver seamless and engaging experiences for our diverse user base. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the accessibility, efficiency, and usability of our digital products.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. User-Centric Design:
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of user requirements and pain points.
  • Create user personas, journey maps, and wireframes to visualize design solutions.
  • Design user interfaces that strike a balance between aesthetics and functionality, ensuring an exceptional user experience.
  • Visual Design:
    • Create visually appealing and consistent designs for web and mobile applications.
    • Adhere to brand guidelines and design principles to maintain visual coherence across products.
    • Incorporate industry best practices and the latest design trends to develop innovative and attractive interfaces.
  • Prototyping and Testing:
    • Develop interactive prototypes to visualize and validate design concepts.
    • Conduct user testing and integrate feedback to refine and enhance designs.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to smoothly integrate design elements.
    • Effectively communicate and present design concepts to stakeholders and team members.
  • User Research:
    • Perform user research to gain insights into user behavior and preferences.
    • Utilize research findings to inform design decisions and optimize user experiences.
  • Continuous Learning:
    • Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.
    • Apply new knowledge and skills to enhance design strategies and deliver innovative solutions.

    Requirements

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a minimum of 3 years in designing web and mobile interfaces.
    • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator) or similar tools.
    • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of user interface and user experience design projects. Please provide link if available.
    • Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs to communicate design concepts.
    • Understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
    • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.


    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in the healthcare industry or designing for healthcare-related applications.
    • Proficiency in prototyping tools such as Figma or InVision to create interactive and clickable prototypes.
    • Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to facilitate collaboration with development teams.
    • Experience with conducting user research, usability testing, and other user-centered design methodologies.
    • Ability to iterate on designs based on user feedback and data-driven insights.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
    • Passion for healthcare and a desire to contribute to improving the healthcare experience for individuals.
