About the role:
As a UI/UX Designer at VivSoft, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces and experiences for our products and web portals. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketing, to understand user needs and business requirements. Responsibilities:
- Be committed to bringing joy and caring about end users.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for websites and products.
- Ensure consistency in design across all platforms and devices.
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate on designs.
- Collaborate with content creators to update and refresh website content, ensuring compliance with federal 508 standards.
- Implement design improvements to enhance the overall aesthetics and user engagement.
- Ensure content is aligned with brand guidelines and messaging.
- Conduct user research to understand user behaviors, needs, and pain points.
- Translate research findings into actionable design solutions.
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and marketing teams to align design goals with business objectives.
- Communicate design concepts and decisions effectively to various stakeholders.
- Ensure designs are responsive and provide a seamless experience across different devices and screen sizes.
Skills / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI).
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design for websites and digital products.
- Knowledge and proven ability to meet federal Section 508 compliance standards.
- A passion for user experience and HCD.
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing design skills and successful projects.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, etc.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and responsive design.
- Experience with website content management systems (CMS) and content refresh initiatives.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
