The UX Designer collaborates with Product Owners to strategize and lead the creation of new experiences, or improvements to existing functionality across all products. The ideal candidate is a constant advocate for our users - an analytical and creative thinker who can grasp user needs and solve complex problems.

 

How You Will Contribute
 

  • Creates innovative solutions for a wide variety of product design challenges across both desktop & mobile platforms.
  • Develops detailed interactive prototypes or static mock-ups to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Works alongside developers, product owners and other stakeholders throughout all stages of the software development life cycle.
  • Collaborates with the UX Strategist to leverage user research and performance metrics in support of proposed UX solutions.
  • Supports in-app training initiatives for our users, from design concept to execution
  • Maintains existing product style guides and other UX documentation
  • Performs Visual Quality Assurance (VQA) to ensure new product experiences or enhancements adhere to established design patterns and align with interactive prototype or static mockup 
  • Communicates and effectively interacts with the development, product management, operations, and software quality assurance teams
  • Performs other duties, assignments, and/or special projects as time or circumstances necessitate. 


For Consideration You Will Have
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, marketing or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design and Responsive Web design
  • Demonstration of design experience and strong aesthetic sensibilities.
  • Visual acuity to recognize on-brand and unified graphics throughout the application.
  • Ability to independently manage time and priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
  • Experience working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary environment and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
  • Extensive experience in creating user flows, wireframing, and prototypes for web and native apps


Technical Skills
 

  • Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Axure RP or other prototyping software experience required
  • Familiarity with Product Experience platforms (e.g. Gainsight PX) preferred
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 preferred
  • Experience in a highly Agile/scrum environment
