Position Overview:
As a UX Designer at ZEDEDA, you will play a critical role in shaping our platform's user experience and customer experience, ensuring that it meets the needs and expectations of our diverse customer base. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate customers' requirements into intuitive and visually appealing product designs. This role requires creative design skills, technical proficiency, and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to understand customer needs and business requirements.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to gather insights and validate design decisions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that communicate design concepts and interactions effectively.
- Iterate designs based on feedback from stakeholders and users, incorporating usability best practices and accessibility standards
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
- Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and other design documentation to support consistency and scalability across the platform.
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and UX/UI design best practice
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a UX/UI designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and outcomes.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability testing methodologies, and accessibility standards.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and justify design decisions to stakeholders.
- B2B product experience is a required.
- Experience working in Agile development environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with IoT, edge computing, or cloud technologies is desirable but not required.

Zededa’s main compensation philosophy is to provide you with the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop with the company. The base pay range, dependent on your skills, qualifications, experience and location for this role is between $115,000 and $135,000, and will also include commission, equity and benefits components to round out your total compensation.
